Sarah Ann Taylor Van Hoosen (1830-1921) on the left and Mary Robertson Price on the right, pose in front of the original Van Hoosen home built by Sarah's mother, Mary Miner Taylor, in 1840, after the death of Sarah's father, Elisha Taylor, in 1834. Mary Price's father ran the Robertson Grist Mill and the dog on the left was named Diamond Dick.
