Designed by Detroit architect, Albert Kahn, Western Knitting Mills president Charles Sherwin Chapman (1864-1912) had this residence built in 1899, just north of Downtown Rochester on the east side of Main Street. Commonly referred to as "Oak Bluff," it fell into disrepair and was demolished in 1968.
