Edwin Rufus Frank (1838-1911) and two unidentified children in front of the office of Dr. Herbert P. Ewell in Rochester. "Rufe" Frank was the son of Colonel John Chadsey Frank, Sr. and Arabella Chipman Frank. He grew up on the family farm on East Auburn Road and served in the Michigan 5th Infantry during the Civil War.
