The W.F. Korff Meat Market, or Central Meat Market, was located within the James W. Smith Block on the east side of Main Street. Pictured are Mr. Penniman with a basket and Hardy Korff (1894-1959) in an apron. Mr. Penniman came with his basket to take something home to his wife or dog. Korff's always gave away leftovers if they had just made hotdogs.
